A reclining nine-tailed fox statue carved from blue sandstone (also known as blue goldstone), its tails flowing like waves. The deep blue surface shimmers with star-like flecks, set on a layered dark wood pedestal.
Please note: blue sandstone is a man-made glass, not a natural crystal or mineral.
Material: man-made blue sandstone (glass); dark wood base. Dimensions: approximately 19 cm high (including base) × 13 cm wide.
Color, shimmer, and surface may vary slightly from the photos.
Background
The nine-tailed fox is a shape-shifting figure of East Asian legend. In many stories it is associated with wisdom, charm, and transformation; here it is presented as a carved work of art.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid chemicals and prolonged soaking. Avoid drops and knocks against hard surfaces, and place carefully when displaying.
